A DSLR camera is the abbreviation for digital single-lens reflex camera that uses an automatic mirror system and pentaprism or pentamirror to direct light from the lens through the viewfinder eyepiece.

The basic operation of a DSLR is for viewing purposes. Basically, the mirror reflects the light coming through the attached lens upwards at an approximately 90 degree angle. It is then reflected by the pentaprism to the photographer's eye. During exposure that is during a photograph is bring taken, the mirror swings upwards and opens the shutter to allow the lens to project light onto the image sensor.

Interchangeable lenses for DSLRs are built to operate correctly with a specific lens mount that is generally unique to each brand. Photographers often use lenses made by the same manufacturer as the camera body although there are also many other independent lens manufacturers that make lenses for a variety of different lens mounts.

The fact about DSLRs is that any DSLRs would produce a blurred image if there's no lighting. Images produced during the night would often be not clear or may have less pixels. However, a DSLR in another hand, produced high quality pixels during the day. Besides, the optical zoom of a DSLR would again be better than a digital camera.

This is a very interesting topic that has I had thought about for a long time. Well, according to research and statistics, lying is a skill all children learn. It is a tool for avoiding blame or punishment, and for shoring up a poor self-image. While all children lie, some do it much more than others. Psychologists who study lying have found patterns that help predict which children will lie the most.

The most common reasons for lying, particularly among younger children, is a fear of punishment. This is especially true when the punishment is severe or the parents have unrealistically high expectations for their children.

For older children, chronic lying is often a rebellion against restrictions. It is a way to challenge a parent's authority. Preteens no longer feel they must tell their parents everything they do; they may respond with a lie to what they perceive as an intrusive question.

As they grow older, children realize that the greatest control they can have is the control of information. Generally, the more intrusive or overinvolved parents are, the more likely it is that preadolescents will lie by omitting information. Often they do this blatantly, as if to emphasize their growing need for privacy. "Where did you go?" "Nowhere." What did you do?" "Nothing." "Who was there?" "Nobody you'd know."

A sudden increase in lying can also be a signal that something's wrong in the family. This is especially true if the child is acting out in other ways, such as stealing or committing vandalism. You should pay particular attention if the victims of the thefts or other petty crimes are other family members. Often this is a cry for help that is much louder than his words alone could be.

Planning to get a contact lense? Read this, it might help. They usually have the purpose as conventional glasses, but are lightweight and invisible when immersed in cleaning and storage solutions.

There are basically three type of lenses catagorised under the contact lenses:

1. Hard lenses which are rarely used in Brunei.

2.Soft lenses which are soft lenses made up of gel-like contained in plastics.

3. GP lenses which are waterless plastic lenses and are recommended for people suffering from presbyopia.

A daily wear type of contact lense must be removed every night before bed while a contact lense with extended wear could be worn while you're asleep and could last for maximum seven consecutive days.

There are at least four types of lense disposal times. The first one is daily disposable, the one you must replace everyday. Dispsable (daytime), which could be replaced every two weeks. Disposable (used overnight), to be replaced every one week. Lastly, the continuous wear one which could be replaced only after one month. However, a planned replacement could be replaced on a monthly basis or anytime according to the user's desire.

Warren Edward Buffett (born August 30, 1930, in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American investor, businessman and philanthropist. He is regarded as one of the world's greatest investors and is the largest shareholder and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. With an estimated net worth of around US$62 billion, he was ranked by Forbes as the richest person in the world as of February 11, 2008.

Often called the "Oracle of Omaha,"Buffett is noted for his adherence to the value investing philosophy and for his personal frugality despite his immense wealth. His 2006 annual salary was about $100,000, which is small compared to senior executive remuneration in other comparable companies. When he spent $9.7 million of Berkshire's funds on a business jet in 1989, he jokingly named it "The Indefensible" because of his past criticisms of such purchases by other CEOs. He lives in the same house in the central Dundee neighborhood of Omaha that he bought in 1958 for $31,500, today valued at around $700,000.

Buffett is also a noted philanthropist. In 2006, he announced a plan to give away his fortune to charity, with 83% of it going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2007, he was listed among Time's 100 Most Influential People in The World. He also serves as a member of the board of trustees at Grinnell College.
